KD aLe: Big Boiler Brewing Tour
Learn how The Big Boiler Brewing staff makes the brewery’s signature beers such as its Coal Chamber Stout, Hefeweizen and 38 Spatial. The tour is Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the brewery, 318 E. Main St., Suite B, Lowell.
Massage and Essential Oil Techniques
Learn how to incorporate massage into your life and go home with a sample massage oil that you’ve made yourself. The program is Dec. 13 from 6 – 7:30 p.m .at the KDL Plainfield Township Branch, 2650 5 Mile Rd. NE. Pre-registration required.
The Art of Papermaking
Back by popular demand is this paper making program set for Dec. 18 from 6:30 – 8 p.m at the KDL Comstock Park Branch, 3943 West River Dr. NE. Create unique handcrafted paper with artistic flair and style. Learn techniques to create decorative sheets of paper using various fibers and pulp, a mold and a deckle. Pre-registration required.
