Grand Opening of Blandford’s Mary Jane Dockeray Visitor Center set for Earth Day, April 22

Join the Blandford Crew as the new Mary Jane Dockeray Visitor Center is unveiled to the Grand Rapids Community! Ribbon-cutting ceremony, building tours, property tours, wildlife encounters and much more await you on Earth Day. Help celebrate the the success of the Growing Up Blandford Campaign! The Second Annual Conservation Collective will be held concurrently.


About the Second Annual Conservation Collective

The 2017 Grand Rapids Conservation Collective is an opportunity for current and future volunteers, members and supporters of the participating organizations to learn more at an informal open house held at Blandford Nature Center. Guests are encouraged to learn more about region-wide volunteer opportunities as well as upcoming projects that will positively impact the environment in West Michigan. This event is free to attend with many fun and hands-on activities. Participating organizations include: Blandford Nature Center, Kent County Parks Foundation, Kent County Parks Department, Friends of Grand Rapids Parks, John Ball Zoo, West Michigan Environmental Action Council, Sierra Club – West Michigan Group, West Michigan Conservation Network and many more!
