Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids has been invited to staff concession stands for this year’s Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give, June 12-18th 2017, at Blythefield Country Club. As a result of this engagement, the nonprofit will receive a portion of the proceeds made from concession sales.
Gilda’s Club volunteers will staff multiple concession stands located across Blythefield Country Club. Tasks could include making sales, restocking food and drinks, grilling meat, warming food, preparing food and/or providing friendly customer service.
Each Gilda’s Club volunteer will receive a volunteer package for their time and energy. The volunteer package includes:
- one (1) tournament T-Shirt,
- one (1) volunteer badge (valid as parking pass & general admission for the week),
- two (2) weekly grounds passes, and
- meals (only on the days you are volunteering).
