Former WKTV volunteer Raymond Peuler’s wife dies at the age of 81

Shirley Ann Shirley Ann (Bainbridge) Peuler, of Caledonia, formerly of Wyoming, died Saturday, Oct. 28. She was 81.

 

Shirley was the wife of Raymond Peuler, former WKTV volunteer and board member. Raymond Peuler also served on the Wyoming City Council and Electrolux and Kelvinator. Raymond and Shirley Peuler were married for 60 years.

 

“Our condolences go out to the family,” said WKTV General Manager Tom Norton. “Shirley was certainly a dear to Ray and she was a dear to us as well.”

 

Along with being survived by her husband, Shirley is will be remembered by  her children, Sheryl and Glenn VerMurlen, Ray and Ruth Peuler, Ron and Kim Peuler; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Hilldore; brother-in-law, Jim Stehouwer; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, Nov. 2, at Eighth Reformed Church, 841 Burton St. SW, Wyoming. Interment is at Grandville Cemetery.

 

Relatives and friends may meet the family on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Eighth Reformed Radio Broadcast Fund. Condolences may be sent online at mkdfuneralhome.com.
