Join the ACLU of Michigan’s Western Michigan Local Unit for its monthly meeting on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 5:30 pm to meet, discuss and fight for justice together.
The organization is currently developing a list of specific policies to work on in the coming years, and the more people on the ground, the better. Here are current areas of interest:
- Mass incarceration
- Immigration reform
- 21st Century Fourth Amendment
- Voting rights
- Reproductive justice/women’s rights
- Quality Education
- Smart justice/police abuse
- LGBT Rights
The meeting will be held at Wealthy Theatre, 1130 Wealthy St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506.
