Four arrested in Kentwood shooting Monday afternoon; KPD investigating

Four people were arrested and several weapons were recovered after a shooting that occurred around 1 p.m. Monday, May 5, in the area of Ridgebrook Dr. and Carriage Hill Dr. SE in the City of Kentwood. The Kentwood Police Department is currently investigating the shooting.

After receiving multiple 911 calls, Kentwood PD, along with the assistance of surrounding agencies, quickly responded to this incident. Officers discovered several casings and multiple bullet holes in this area. During the investigation several weapons were recovered and four people were arrested and lodged at the Kent County Correctional facility or Kent County Juvenile Detention Center.

While fleeing from the scene, a personal injury accident occurred between a vehicle involved and an uninvolved vehicle who received minor injuries. At this time no other injuries have been reported and no known victims from the gun fire were located or reported.
