WinterWest is a winter fun series that are free events in collaboration with the City of Grand Rapids Parks and Rec Department, Friends of Grand Rapids Parks and West Grand Neighborhood Organization to encourage outdoor park engagement during the chilly winter months.
Join us Saturday, Dec. 22nd from 10am–2pm. The popular youth and adult crazy cardboard sled races return. Bring your family and friends and enjoy hot chocolate, kid activities, snowman and snow fort building, and more!
- 10am – Registration Crazy Cardboard Sled Races Youth and Adult
- 11am – Crazy Cardboard Sled Races Youth first, Adult to begin immediately afterwards
- 10am–1:30pm – Snowman/Snow Fort building; Kids crafts/activities
- 1pm – Tree ID Walk
- 1:45pm -Snowman/Snow Fort Winners Announced
