In August, WKTV Community Media will be airing volume two of the “CHANGED” documentary series on WKTV 25.
Created by Media Messengers, the first “CHANGED” film was released in 2022. The documentary featured three individuals sharing stories of life, faith and the powerful ways they have been transformed.
“CHANGED Vol. 2” also features three true-life stories, including that of former Grand Rapids resident and musician Kevi Morse:
“Art was drowning in the broken life of alcohol abuse. Collette, a wild child from the 60’s nearly fell into an early grave. Kevi struggled to rise above the strife of the inner-city. Hear their stories of life, faith and the powerful way they have been changed.” — Media Messengers
A mission of hope
According to their website, Media Messengers is a non-profit, inter-denominational organization committed to bringing the message of hope and life to their community in unique and creative ways. Founded in 2003 by Reverend Rudy Henderson, part of Media Messengers’ mission is to share real life stories of people who have encountered God in their lives and have been transformed.
Additional venues of community outreach include television commercials, print and internet media, video, film and evangelistic missions.
One such evangelistic mission is the annual Christian music festival, Lansing Bless Fest. Held at Adado Riverfront Park in Lansing, the free admission 2025 Bless Fest will take place Friday, Aug. 22 and Saturday, Aug. 23.
