Solstice Night Hike at Blandford, Dec. 21

Courtesy Blandford Nature Center

By Blandford Nature Center

Join our Master Naturalist for a hike on the longest night of the year. Our Solstice night hike will take you through the trails and forests of Blandford for an experience that is part nature education, part personal exploration. Along the way you’ll learn about constellations, wildlife adaptations, winter forest facts, practice your nocturnal senses, and much more. Portions of this hike will allow for self-guided exploring.

Participants need to dress for the weather and wear proper footwear. Flashlights are discouraged, unless you have a soft blue or soft red light for protecting night vision.
