Registration is fast approaching for the fall youth sports programs at the Wyoming Parks and Recreation Department.
Aug. 11 is the deadline to register for the Flag Football program. After that date, if there are openings, there will be a $5 late fee added. Fees for Flag Football are $40/resident and $60/non-resident. Jerseys and flags will be provided. The program runs from Sept. 10 to Oct. 8 at the Wyoming High School, 1350 Prairie Parkway SW. There will be a meet your team the week of Aug. 29.
Also, even though deadline has past the Youth Soccer Leagues, registrations are still being accepted as long as spots are available. Leagues are available for children who have turned 4-years-old by Sept. 17 through eighth grade. Fees are $40/resident and $57.50/non-resident with $5 off for each additional children.
Practices are Sept. 17 – Oct. 22 at several parks in the City of Wyoming. Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten are on Saturday mornings. First through ninth grade practices begin Aug. 30. Games are at Marquette Park, 1400 Nagel SW.
