Individuals, historical organizations and chambers from Antrim, Charlevoix, Emmet, and Otsego counties are sharing the fascinating stories of their towns and villages, both past and present.
Generations highlights the importance of northern Michigan’s history through a collection of photos and text from twenty local communities to be shared with Raven Hill Discovery Center visitors. Exhibit hours are Sept. 1, 2019, to Oct. 12, 2019, Saturdays, Noon–4pm and Sundays, 2pm–4pm. Generations is also open at other times by appointment.
On Saturday, Sept. 28 from noon to 4pm, Raven Hill visitors can enjoy the Generations exhibit and learn about careers from both the past and present at the Generations Career Festival. Career volunteers will be here to demonstrate careers such as spinning, 3-D printing, ham radio operators, drones, rope-making and surveying, both old and new. The Center is still looking for more Career volunteers.
