Stop shaving and strive to achieve Muskegon benefactor, Charles Hackley’s look. His namesake, the Hackley Library, is hosting a contest throughout November. Here’s how it works: Don’t shave for the month and then show up no later than 6 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 1 for the big judging event at the Hackley Library, 316 Webster Ave., Muskegon. There will be prizes! Rules: 1) You may keep preexisting facial hair but the rest must be as clean as possible. 2) You may trim to create Hackley’s look, but NO SHAVING. The “No Shave November” event also raises awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostrate cancer.
