The Grand Rapids Public Schools is inviting the community to review and offer suggestions on several proposed strategic plan initiatives at an open house event set for Thursday, Jan 13.
The open house is from 3 – 7 p.m at GRPS University, 1400 Fuller Ave. NE.
Six strategy teams comprised of internal and external representatives have worked since Nov. 9 to review the feedback and suggestions from hundreds of stakeholders who participated in the community input sessions and online surveys. These teams have developed draft initiatives that the public is invited to review and give feedback on. Members of the strategy teams will be on hand at the event to share information, answer questions and gather input.
If anyone is unable to attend this session, there will be an online opportunity from Jan. 11-19 to review the draft initiatives and provide feedback at www.grps.org/strategic-plan.
