Feast your eyes and ears on the sky and celebrate the 4th a day early. Gun Lake Casino’s annual fireworks display is this Sunday, July 3, beginning at dusk behind the casino. Places to view include the parking lots on the casino’s north side and the casino’s west lot. Minors may view the fireworks on-site but are not permitted to enter the casino.
Tune in to 101.3, The Brew, and get a fireworks show for your ears, too! The music will be synced to the sky. The Brew WBFX-FM will broadcast a special music match-up to accompany the fireworks show, and listeners may tune in during the show, even if watching the display from off the casino grounds.
Stick around after the fireworks for cash drawings of $1,000 every half-hour at the casino from 10:30 pm until 12 midnight. Guests can swipe at a Passport kiosk for a free entry beginning at 5 pm.
Two live bands will play at Stage 131, beginning with Grand Rapids native, John Sanger, followed by Drop 35. Sanger, a classic rock and pop artist, will play from 5-8 pm. Drop 35 is a West Michigan band featuring popular dance music and will play from 9 pm-1 am.
