Pine Rest Christian Mental Health
Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services recently hired Donald MacKenzie as Executive Director of the Pine Rest Foundation which has assets close to $25 million.
MacKenzie has made a career of successfully raising charitable dollars for a variety of not-for-profit organizations throughout the state and across the country. At Pine Rest, the primary work of the foundation is to raise money for the Patient Assistance Fund so that individuals and families who experience financial hardships can access the treatment they need, regardless of their ability to pay.
The Pine Rest Foundation also has the Casey Wondergem Grant Program which provides start-up and support funds to significant programs at Pine Rest.
Most recently, MacKenzie served as the director of advancement and donor relations at Haggai International headquartered in Atlanta. In this post he was the Midwest representative for the internationally focused Christian ministry. He was responsible for all aspects of major gift fundraising and relationship stewardship.
MacKenzie received his bachelor and master degrees from Eastern Michigan University.
