Comprenew is hiring instructors for computer literacy class

Comprenew is seeking instructors to teach Comprenew Connect, its introductory computer literacy course for low-income people in the community. Comprenew Connect is free to participants and builds confidence and technical skills.

 

The course is a total of 15 hours and is typically taught two days a week, over the course of five weeks.

 

At the conclusion of the 10 courses, you will be eligible to receive a stipend of $300.

 

Requirements:

  • Teaching the basics of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Email, and Internet
  • Use the provided syllabus and online modules to instruct the course.
  • Work with students to make sure they are proficient at the skills they are learning.

Comprenew will work with your schedule.

 

Comprenew is a nonprofit electronics recycler with a mission to protect people and the planet from the threat of e-waste, while providing job-readiness and computer literacy programs to at-risk people.
