Join us for our Tree Pruning and Maintenance Class with guest speaker Geoffrey Kempter! Participants will learn the basics of continuing the maintenance of their trees including: basic tree biology, pruning techniques, various tools, mulching, timing of maintenance, and other resources. Trees cannot survive in our city without continued care, and this class will give you the knowledge to help care for the trees in your yard.
This class is part of a series of required classes to earn a ‘Citizen Forester’ designation. A $5 donation per class is encouraged. There is a 30-person cap for this class. Go here to register.
