Roses are red, violets are blue as several area Kent District Library branches will host a Valentine’s activity to celebrate the recognized holiday.
The Heart to Heart Craft Party will include snacks, crafts and fun. The KDL Gaines Township branch, 421 68th St. SE, will have the event Saturday, Feb. 11, at 10:30 a.m. while the KDL Kentwood (Richard L. Root) branch will be hosting it on the actual day of Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m. at its location 4950 Breton St. SE.
Just outside of the Kentwood and Wyoming areas are two more KDL branches that will be hosting the Heart to Heart Craft Party as well. The KDL Byron Township branch, 8191 Byron Center Ave. SW, will have it Saturday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m. and the KDL Caledonia Township branch, 6260 92nd St. SE, will have it the day after Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 10 a.m.
