Wyoming Police investigate shooting that leaves one person injured

One person is injured following a shooting in the 3200 block of Charlesgate Avenue.

At approximately 11:35 p.m. on Oct. 7, officers from the Wyoming Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the area of 32nd Street and Charlesgate Avenue SW. Officers located evidence indicating that multiple shots had been fired; however, no victim was found at the scene.

Shortly afterward, a male arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds and remains in critical condition.

At this time, no arrests have been made. Detectives from the Wyoming Police Department, along with members of the Forensic Science Unit, are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
