A juvenile male is injured after an accidental shooting in the 4000 block of Heron Avenue SW.
At approximately 10:20 p.m. on Aug. 8, officers from the Wyoming Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 4000 block of Heron Avenue SW. The victim, a 14-year-old male, was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The adult suspect is cooperating with investigators.
Preliminary investigation indicates this was an isolated and accidental incident.
Detectives from the Wyoming Police Department, along with members of the Forensic Science Unit, are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
