Final arch added to Wyoming’s Veteran’s Park

This week, the City of Wyoming installed the final memorial arch in Wyoming’s Veteran’s Memorial Garden. The Walk of Honor now features three arches heralding “Honor,” “Duty,” and “Country.”

While restorative justice isn’t a new philosophy or curriculum, it flips the traditionally punitive school-discipline model. It is also being used at Lee Middle School in Godfrey-Lee Public Schools and at Wyoming High School in Wyoming Public Schools.

Update: Second suspect charged as an adult in Wyoming teen’s death

Second teen was arraigned this morning on open murder charges as an adult in the connection of the homicide of Michael White. White’s body was found at Wyoming’s Lions Park on Saturday.

Wyoming police continues investigation into 16-year-old’s death, community works to recover

Wyoming Department of Public Safety released a statement saying the department is continuing its investigation of the homicide of Michael White whose body was found at Lions Park. Meanwhile, one suspect is charged with open murder as an adult.

On Monday, January 18th, Wyoming Mayor Jack Poll delivered the annual State of the City address in front of the Wyoming City Council and residence in attendance. Mayor Poll’s message shed light on Wyoming’s growing business and building development, productive and advancing city services, and the government’s consistent fiscal responsibility.
