One person is dead following a crash in the 3200 block of Charlesgate Avenue Southwest.
At approximately 1:50 p.m. on July 19, officers from the Wyoming Police Department responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck in the 3200 block of Charlesgate Avenue. The motorcyclist, a 33-year-old man from the City of Wyoming, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with officers. Preliminary investigation indicates that speed was a contributing factor in the crash. Alcohol is not believed to be involved.
The Wyoming Police Department’s Accident Investigation and Forensic Science Units continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
