Volunteers needed for Blandford Nature Center’s Harvest Festival on Oct. 14


With only one week to go, Blandford is still coming up short on volunteers for its annual Harvest Festival, a celebration of autumn with classic festive fun for the entire West Michigan Community. Festival activities include candle-making, wagon rides, scarecrows, cider pressing and more. The weather is looking gorgeous for that weekend–here’s your chance help make fall memories for families and friends of Blandford Nature Center.

There are still more than 40 volunteer spots that need to be filled. Volunteer spots still available include but aren’t limited to:
  • Volunteer Shuttle Driver
  • Directing parking for festival goers
  • Admissions (at the new Visitor Center & the Farm)
  • Refreshment sales (Popcorn & Hard Cider)
  • Historic building interpreters (Log Cabin & Pioneer Barn)
  • Rag Doll Crafts & Old-fashion toys
  • Scarecrow making station
  • And more!

Where: Blandford Nature Center & Blandford Farm, 1715 Hillburn Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504

 

When: Shifts between 10am-4pm on Saturday, October 14
