Two travel guides offer tips, ideas for adventures close to home and throughout West Michigan

Looking for something to do or  wanting to plan a new adventure? Both Experience Grand Rapid and the West Michigan Tourist Association now have their 2018 travel guides.

 

The West Michigan 2018 Carefree Travel Guide features activities and events throughout West Michigan from Mackinaw City/Mackinaw Island in the north to Three Oaks in the south and from Lake Michigan in the west to the U.S. Route 127/I-75 corridor.

 

The guide contains beer destinations to pet friendly places. There is also golf spots, area zoos, zip lining, and more. Also featured is road trips all designed to see some of the best West Michigan has to offer.

 

Closer to home, the Experience Grand Rapids visitor’s guide, “The Experience,” has 80 pages full of activities and events. Where to see the art, where to see the kids, and where to go for dinner are just some of the questions you’ll be able to answer with this guide. There also is a nice selection of breweries, wineries, and distilleries along with the dining guide.

 

Both guides are available at the WKTV station, 5261 Clyde Park SW.
