On August 25, 2016, a new event is coming to Grand Rapids — The Grand Picnic.
What is the Grand Picnic?
It’s a flash picnic that focuses the day on celebrating the community while bringing old and new friends together for an unforgettable picnic experience. The fun begins that morning when the secret location is revealed only to guests. That’s right: Only those who purchased tickets in advance will receive the location of the Grand Picnic.
Where will it be?
It’s a secret. If you don’t have a ticket, you will have no idea where the Grand Picnic is happening.
All you have to bring are your friends and the food. Everything else will be provided — tables, chairs, live entertainment and, of course, a super-cool spot for a picnic!
Tickets are $15 and include tables, seating, live entertainment, and a fun, unique picnic location! The event is based around a self-catered picnic. Guests may bring appetizers, entrees, and desserts to pass and share with friends. Groups are also encouraged to bring festive tableware and decorations. Awards for best table decorations will be awarded at the event. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase on site. All guests must be 21 years or older to attend.
