The Hit Men ‘Time Travel’ comes to Van Singel Performance Arts Center on Oct. 16

hit-menThe Hit Men are on tour and set to perform at Van Singel Performing Arts Center in Byron Center, MI on October 16.

No one captures the spirit of classic hits from the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s like The Hit Men … because they are the ACTUAL musicians that helped make those hits happen. The band recently announced the addition of uber drummer and vocalist Steve Murphy to their lineup, adding yet another slice of rock and roll history to their live shows and expanding their “time travel” set list for fans and audiences across the nation.

The five musicians have toured and recorded with some of the biggest names in the music business from Frankie Valli and Carly Simon to Elton John, Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart, Tommy James, Carole King, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, The Critters and Barry Manilow among others. The Hit Men are great players, world-class entertainers — and most importantly, unlike “tribute bands,” The Hit Men members were there when the actual songs were recorded. Their music, their stories and their craft are embedded in many of America’s most treasured songs and their sizzling shows combine live music, eye-popping videos and reminiscences from their firsthand accounts of making music history as it happens.
