Learn the art of making root beer as the Kent District Library offers a class on the process.
Schmohz Brewery’s Chas Thompson will be heading the class which will cover the steps to making root beer, the equipment required and samples of Schmohz’s root beer.
The program will be offered at 6 p.m. March 7 at the KDL Gaines Township Branch, 421 68th St. SE. The KDL Caledonia Township Branch, 6260 92nd St. SE, will offer the program at 6:30 p.m. March 21 and the KDL Byron Township Branch, 8191 Byron Center Ave. SW, will have it at 6:30 p.m. March 28.
