Polish up your resume and head down to the April 12 Community Job Fair

Spring is in the air and what better time to polish up that resume, put on your interview suit and attend the Community Job Fair?

 

It all happens April 12, 2017, from 9 am-12 pm at the Wyoming Campus of Kentwood Community Church, 2950 Clyde Park Ave. SW (just south of 28th Street).

 

Participating employers represent many trades including healthcare, industrial, transportation, retail, sales and more and several employers interview on the spot. Job seekers are encouraged to dress for success and bring several copies of their resume.

Pre-registration is encouraged. All pre-registered job seekers who attend the April 12, 2017, Community Job Fair will be placed into a drawing for a $25 Cash Card.

 

Several service and support organizations including AARP, Disability Advocates of Kent County, along with Goodwill’s ACHIEVE Program will be on hand to assist job seekers who may need information regarding professional skill building, resume assistance and interview classes.
