The Holly Jolly Good Time, a fundraising dance and dessert smorgasbord, will be held at the Monroe Community Church, 800 Monroe NW, Grand Rapids, on Friday, Dec. 1, from 6-9:30 p.m.
The evening includes desserts and speciality coffees, line dancing with Lia (lialinedance.com) and a silent auction. This is an all-ages event, with bidding for the silent auction closing at 8:30 p.m.
Tickets are $10, or you can give a charitable contribution by visiting oakdaleneighbors.org/hollyjolly . The event supports the following charitable organizations: Greater Hopes Family Services, Oakdale Neighbors, Monroe Community Church, Grandville Calvin Christian Schools and Water Filters for Puerto Rico. The event is sponsored by ROEMO (Retired Old Men Eating Out).
