Fox Motors expands into Ann Arbor

Fox Motors announced the newest member of the Fox Motors family, Fox Ann Arbor, formerly known as Ann Arbor Automotive. This is the first Fox Motors entry into the Ann Arbor market and will feature the Acura, Hyundai and Nissan lines. Fox Ann Arbor is comprised of three separate dealerships, Fox Ann Arbor Acura, located at 540 Auto Mall Drive, Ann Arbor,  and Fox Ann Arbor Hyundai and Fox Ann Arbor
Nissan located at 3975 Jackson Road, Ann Arbor.

“We have been looking for opportunities to grow Fox Motors in Michigan so when Doug Fox of Ann Arbor Automotive reached out, it was a great fit. Ann Arbor is a thriving community, placing near or at the top of every “Best of” list, so it is an exciting place to grow. We’ll be
carrying three automotive brands that are familiar to us and that we are pleased to represent in Ann Arbor,” said Daniel G. DeVos, Fox Motors Chairman & CEO. “We look forward to continuing on the exceptional customer experience provided by Doug and his team and to introduce the Fox Difference to Ann Arbor.”

Fox Motors plans to put its stamp on the three dealerships with investments in landscape,
exterior facades and building and service equipment. The Hyundai dealership will undergo a significant renovation in 2019. All three dealerships include new car and pre-owned showrooms, full service, parts and accessories departments.

“I’ve known Dan (DeVos) for a long time. While this was a tough decision, I always knew I would want Dan and his team to take over when the time was right,” said Doug Fox, Ann Arbor Automotive Owner. “I know that Ann Arbor Automotive is in good hands and that the
customers will be well taken care of by the Fox Motors team. It’s been a great ride and I owe it to my Ann Arbor Automotive team and community. Thank you for your support over the last 30 years.”

Fox Ann Arbor operations will be overseen by Division Director, Jerry Moore, and General Manager, Andrew Serum.

Fox Motors has 16 locations in the Greater Grand Rapids area, with several along 28th Street in the Kentwood and Wyoming areas.
