The City of Wyoming’s Public Works Department will continue to pick up city-provided leaf containers until Nov. 29 and asks for the public’s cooperation in not raking or blowing leaves or grass clippings into the street as this can cause clogged catch basins and flooding.
Residents can either drop off the material at the yard waste facility for free or rent one of the leaf containers.
Leaf containers are one size and cost $10 for a weekday or $20 for a weekend. Containers are delivered and picked up by the city. Reservations require at least a one-day notice and are first-come, first-served based on availability.
