Call for entries for the annual Kent County Teen Film Festival

Teens who live in Kent County are being invited to enter the Kent District Library’s 11th annual teen filmmaking contest.

 

The entry deadline is Friday, Jan. 20. Films must be written, directed and edited by students in grades 6 – 12. Films may be individual or a group project, however, the filmmaker/director must be a resident of Kent County. Films should not be longer than 10 minutes in length.

 

Adult guidance and instruction is permissible however the overall film must reflect a teen effort. All films should be either G or PG rating in subject matter and content. Films will be previewed for content.

Selected films will be shown Saturday, Feb. 25, at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Celebration! Cinema North, 2121 Celebration Dr. NE.
