Grand Haven’s ArtWalk 2016 is excited to announce that artist registration is now open. Artists may register through Aug. 14 on Café – CallForEntry.org. Registration can be reached by searching “Artwalk 2016” on CallForEntry.org or on ghartwalk.com in the “Artists” tab under “Artist Information & Registration.”
Registration on Café is free. Applicants must create a user account and upload image files of the art they wish to enter. If you have problems registering you may email artwalkgrandhaven@gmail.com for assistance. ArtWalk 2016 will be hosting two registration sessions later this summer to assist those without Internet access or other difficulties.
Artists may enter one piece into each of five categories: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Photography, and Mixed Media. Visit ghartwalk.com for complete category descriptions. There is a $25 entry fee for each piece/category entered. Payment can be made through Café or by check written to Grand Haven ArtWalk.
Artists are encouraged to seek out and negotiate their venue. A complete list of participating venues can be found on ghartwalk.com in the “Artists” tab under “Venues Seeking Artists.”
ArtWalk will run from Sept. 21 – Oct. 9.
ArtWalk is a way of engaging the community to embrace, propel and create an arena for all areas and elements of the arts. ArtWalk’s mission is to build, organize and grow the arts in Grand Haven and beyond.
