Area Agency on Aging offers training/employment program for unemployed, low-income, 55+ folks

Are you a low-income, unemployed individual, age 55+? Want to get back into the workforce but need to update your skills? You’re in luck!

 

The Area Agency on Aging of West Michigan offers a training/employment program called the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)/Title V.

What is SCSEP/Title V?

SCSEP/Title V is a training and employment program for low-income, unemployed individuals, age 55+. Title V offers a paid, temporary work training experience and help finding employment to older adults who meet eligibility requirements.

 

The Program is designed to serve those who want to go to work/re-enter the workforce, but need training to prepare.

 

Grant funds allow the program to serve:  Allegan, Ionia, Kent, Muskegon and Ottawa counties.
