Arcadia Brewing Company is celebrating 20 years in the craft beer industry by hosting an anniversary extravaganza on Saturday, September 17th in the Beer Garden at their Kalamazoo Riverfront, Brewery, Pub and Kitchen.

For 20 years, Arcadia Brewing Company has been committed to a British-Inspired/American-Brewed stable of beers. In 1996, Arcadia’s first 25-barrel batch was brewed on a Brick Kettle Brewing System from England, at the flagship Battle Creek, Mich. location.

Fast-forward to today: Every batch is produced in the new 50-barrel American-made brewhouse at the Kalamazoo brewery. In the words of Tim Suprise (Founder & CEO) “20 years and it’s still about the beer.”

There will be events and live acts by Olde World Village performers throughout the day, but the 20th Anniversary Party officially kicks off at 5pm on the 17th with live music by Double Strung, a bluegrass band from Southwest Michigan. Following bands include the Elden Kelly Trio who specialize in jazz/world music, Blarney Castle who brings an old-style Celtic sound, and The Last Gasp Collective who fill the air with powerful soul/hip-hop. Headlining the show, The Go Rounds, an eclectic rock group based out of Kalamazoo, will close out the night with a furious live act to be remembered.

Along with great entertainment, there will be beer specials, selected specifically for the occasion. Exclusive beers include Sippelicious, a new Mango IPA, and Battle Kriek, a reserve 20th Anniversary beer brewed in honor of Arcadia’s flagship location. Beloved brews like Morning Nightcap and MI-Berry Vice will be on tap in the beer garden.

It wouldn’t be an Arcadia party without some epic food specials. The Bratmobile, one of Arcadia’s newest of food service machineries, will be serving up Whitsun Bratwursts along the riverfront courtyard. Special dishes by Arcadia’s own Chef Sean Kelly, made up of locally sourced produce and meats, will be available through an outdoor food service window set up off the back patio in the beer garden.

True to Arcadia’s philanthropic tradition, $1 from every pint sold during the 20th Anniversary Party will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters. Because for Arcadia, it’s always been about commitment; to creating quality beers, to building relationships with customers, and to supporting the community.
