’s 1st Annual Mudflap Alley Cat will be held this Saturday, August 20. The Mudflap is a casually competitive event where teams will follow clues to different locations around Zeeland.
After arriving at each location via bike, teams will complete challenges and earn points. The event kicks off with registration beginning at 11am in the taproom, 146 E. Main Ave, Zeeland. Riders will leave at 1pm and return by 4pm. Immediately after the teams return, there will be a short presentation by Susan G. Komen and an awards ceremony.
Wisconsin-style beer brats, hot dogs, Bavarian pretzels, and appetizers will be served, and Double Nickel will play in the taproom from 6pm to 9pm.
All money raised will benefit Susan G. Komen. The event is sponsored by Tripelroot, Zeeland Hardware, Main Street Bicycle Co., Coppercraft Distillery, Second Reformed Church of Zeeland, Velo City Cycles, Legends Design, Zeeland Lumber, Jim & Lora Real Estate Sales, and Vision Designs.
